Leap4FNSSA Open Consultation

This survey is part of a consultation process aimed to collect feedback on possible actions to be undertaken to lead Africa in a more climate friendly and sustainable agriculture, and at the same time to optimise the development of the African food market and the job creation linked to this issue.

The questionnaire was inspired by the report (European Union, 2019) named “An Africa-Europe agenda for rural transformation”. The consultation is organised as follows: after the first part dedicated to respondents profiling, you will have access to the central part of the survey. You will be asked to express your opinion about some sentences about strategic areas of actions linked to the food nutrition and security and sustainable agriculture (FNSSA). You will have the chance to select some areas of investment to overcome development problems and to speed up the rural transformation process. The questionnaire will end with your inputs and/or suggestions about research and innovation topics that are closely linked to the areas of investment.

Results of the survey will be handed in a group of selected panellists during the “1st Dissemination event towards decision makers and research and innovation funders” that will be held in Nairobi (Kenya) on 29th of January. The outputs of the entire questionnaire will lead the discussion during the event and will enable the group of experts to provide feedback about possible solutions and suggestions about research and innovation topics on FNSSA in Africa.

The OC is addressed to the actors of scientific community, policy makers, entrepreneurs and civil society at large.

Answering the questionnaire will take you less than 15 minutes.

We thank you in advance for your cooperation.
